CEO and Founder
Mark is a veteran entrepreneur of 15 years who’s founded and grown multiple SaaS ventures that bring transformative change to business. Mark’s record in building successful companies include SureClose.com (acquired by Fortune 700 Stewart Title in 2004) and Spatial Data (acquired by Experian/First American in 1998).
Mark also founded PrintDepartment.com in 1996, a twelve year web-to-print veteran and the predecessor to Print Sf's new Salesforce-centric mission.
In 2005 and 2006, Mark closely studied emerging technologies in 1-to-1, digital publishing, and also the growing adoption of on-demand CRM and Salesforce.com. In 2007, Mark placed a bet that marrying real-time, data driven, digital publishing with CRM on-demand would transform how businesses publish and communicate, in print and online.
A course was charted, PrintSF was formed, and a team of top talent was assembled. One year later, 1-to-1 publishing on demand was born with Print Sf’s launching at Dreamforce 2008.
Mark lives in sunny Encinitas, California, blocks from the blue Pacific. He was born and raised in Virginia, where he earned a BS in Media and Communication from James Madison University in 1990. Away from the office, Mark enjoys time with his wife, Dana, and little girl, Brooke, and his 3 dogs.
